Lori Langston, owner of The Program, is an experienced former educator who taught math for twelve years and has now tutored the HP curriculum for fifteen.  She has lived in the Park Cities for 20 years with her husband, Jay, and 3 children.  Lori’s two oldest are HP Class of 2014 & 2017 and both graduated from Texas A&M, Mays Business School.  Her daughter, HP Class of 2021 is now a junior at A&M studying Technology Management in the Engineering school.  The combination of being a teacher, tutor and HP mom, provides her with a unique perspective for the demands of the student’s rigorous academic expectations, combined with their extra-curricular activities.

"Student-centered" has always been Lori’s philosophy for tutoring.  Her definition of “student-centered” is to be flexible to their schedule while incorporating academic supported strategies to address the distinct learning needs and interests of the individual students.  Lori believes that providing a positive environment helps to empower the students with knowledge and confidence.  This can be done in a one-on-one or group setting.

Lori prides herself on being an advocate for her students, but she also encourages each student to be an advocate for them self.   Her core belief is to focus on the success of the student – not the success of the tutoring business.

The Program Tutoring is owned by Lori Langston, an HP mom and former teacher.  For over 15 years, The Program is known for it's stellar classroom results, exceptional tutors and flexible schedule.  They have a 5-star reputation for their popular Subject Reviews, Final Exam Reviews, ACT/SAT Prep, Back to School Preps and Parent Planning Seminars.  They take pride in being a being a student-centered tutoring service, where the student comes first.

Located in Highland Park, The Program is designed with the student's busy schedule in mind. While many tutoring services work around the tutor's schedule, The Program's reviews are based on the student's quiz/test schedule.  This "Flex" scheduling allows students to tutor only when needed. The Program's Reviews for quiz/tests are 1 to 2 days before their upcoming assessment and our Reviews move daily/weekly along with the student's test schedule, therefore prepping the student with all current study material and avoiding multiple tutoring sessions in one week.

If your student needs the consistent weekly subject group Review that meets on the same day ever week to keep your student on top of their assignments, better understand key concepts and provide course confidence... we have that too.
