Introduction to AP Biology

This 2-hour course is designed to review essential concepts from Honors/TAG Biology while introducing key components of the AP Biology curriculum. Instruction will align with AP standards, focusing on both content and application.
Our students consistently perform at a high level on the AP Biology exam, and this course is designed to help maintain that standard. With the right preparation and mindset, AP Biology is a course students can thrive in—and a strong exam score can translate into 8 to 10 hours of college credit at many universities.
As many in the HP community already know, Jimi Martinez is a student favorite. With over 20 years of classroom experience and a deep passion for teaching, he brings both expertise and enthusiasm to his instruction. As an AP reader, he offers valuable insider insight that helps students feel confident and well prepared. His students’ AP scores consistently exceed the global average.
