This prep course is designed to give your student a strong start to the upcoming semester by covering essential biology topics. Areas of focus will include qualitative vs. quantitative data, homeostasis, genetics, graphing, experimental design, characteristics of life, and more.
I believe a “warm-up” course like this can offer a valuable head start, helping students feel more confident and prepared to face the challenges of the school year.
As a reminder, most science courses—including biology—typically have a quiz within the first four days of school. Quiz grades below 70 cannot be retaken, so preparation from day one is key.
Taught by Kris Jefferies, this course includes essential course material, guided notes, practice problems, and a focus on building a strong understanding of core biology concepts.
