Meeting time - 1 Hour (plus any Q&A time) 

Held In-Person & Virtually via Zoom

Meeting is Complimentary .  Registration is required due to limited seating.

Goal:

To assist parents and students make informed decisions regarding their high school journey from Middle School to High School.

Discussion Points:

- The differences between Standard vs Honors (and/or TAG) classes at HPHS

- Differences between 8th-grade classes and high school classes

- Five qualities of successful students in Honors (PAP)/AP classes

- Grade scale breakdown between regular, Honors (PAP) and AP classes

- Common myths and misconceptions  

- High School Expectations

- Suggested Course Ideas 

- New strategies for the 26-27 school year

 

​Get educated and get the Pros and Cons on the courses you and your student are choosing for next school year, while also better understanding the advantages/disadvantages of Standard vs Honors courses.

The most common phrase I hear from current clients that didn't attend one of my past symposiums is "I wish I would have known..."
